The Federal Bankruptcy Court in Newport News has been informed by the City of Newport News that the public parking lot located at West Avenue and 23rd Street will be closed on May 15, 2026, in preparation for a special event. Street parking around the Courthouse may be unavailable or extremely limited.

There is a municipal lot with paid public parking at Superblock Park between 26th and 28th Streets that will remain open. The entrance to the lot is located on 28th Street.

Please inform your clients and allow extra time for parking and arrival to the Courthouse on May 15, 2026.
